Impact Resistance Lenses

Essilor Airwear lenses are made from a proprietary polycarbonate resin — the same material that NASA uses to make visors for their astronauts. Polycarbonate is widely used in everyday products including computers, car headlights, helmets, etc. The material used to manufacture Essilor Airwear lenses complies with the most stringent European and American safety tests — including Safety Standard ANSI Z87-1.

TRANSITIONS TECHNOLOGY

Photochromic Lenses

Working under hot sun can be least comfortable and dangerous at times. Sometimes, the blinding glare from the sun may causes you to miss out hazardous object. Photochromic lenses with Transitions technology changes the colour of the lens automatically to meet existing light conditions, being clear in indoors and darkens at outdoor when the sun is bright. Transition technology comes with Essilor Airwear impact resistance lenses as well!

VARILUX TECHNOLOGY

Progressive or Multifocal Lenses

Progressive or multifocal lenses are essential for workers who are aged 40 and above. When a person reaches the age of 40, presbyopia/reading prescription/老花 /rabun dekat starts to affect the near vision causing blurriness and difficulty in focusing at near. Progressive/multifocal lenes with Varilux technology corrects both the far and near prescription, so that you don't struggle at your workplace for not being able to read or having the need to switch to reading glasses. Varilux technology is available with Essilor Airwear impact resistance lenses as well!
